Oatmeal Cookies

Wanted something sweet tonight, but one that I could convince myself was "healthy" so this was it!
1/2 cup oil
1/3 cup agave, or brown rice syrup (or other liquid sweetener)
1/3 cup soy or rice milk
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/3 cup whole wheat flour (or white)
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp allspice
2 cups oats
1 1/2 cups raisins or 1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray two cookie sheets with non-stick spray.

In a large bowl, combine the oil, liquid sweetener, soy milk, brown sugar, and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Once dough is formed, fold in oats, raisins, and chocolate chips.

Heap spoon-size balls a couple inches apart on the cookie sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the cookies have spread and begin to brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes before cooling on a wire rack.
